Tesla Investment Update: Fresh All-Time Highs & Massive Catalysts Ahead
Hey Mars Money Lab family! Marcel here with my latest Tesla Robotaxi update and overall Tesla investment progress. What a time to be a TSLA holder! Tesla smashed a new all-time high closing price of $489.88 on December 16, 2025, blasting past previous records on massive Robotaxi and autonomy hype. The stock has pulled back a touch since, but the momentum feels unstoppable heading into 2026. My steady £40/week DCA is paying off huge – gains are stacking up nicely!

My Current Tesla Investment 2025: Hitting New Milestones
As of December 20, 2025, my Tesla holdings are now valued at $11,197.70 – a fantastic leap forward! This includes a +36.15% overall gain ($2,973.02 in unrealized profits). Hitting over $11K feels amazing, especially on eToro’s platform (still loving the Silver tier perks).

I’m staying the course with my long-term hold until 2030+ – dollar-cost averaging through volatility has been key. Seeing the portfolio cross five figures while Tesla pushes new all-time highs and real autonomy milestones is exactly why I started this journey. Excited for what’s next!

Tesla is close to tape-out on the revolutionary AI5 inference chip (with AI6 already in early development). Elon has called it a massive leap forward in efficiency and real-world AI performance – far beyond what off-the-shelf chips can deliver. This custom silicon will power unsupervised FSD – the brain behind the Tesla Robotaxi – plus the Optimus robot army, Dojo supercomputers, and even third-party licensing opportunities down the line. Engineering samples are expected in 2026, with volume production ramping through 2027. In a world racing toward AGI, Tesla quietly building its own ultra-efficient AI hardware stack feels like one of the most underrated parts of the bull thesis!
Roadster Prototype Incoming
We’re on the cusp of an “unforgettable” reveal for the next-gen Roadster – Elon recently said the prototype demo could happen as early as late 2025 or early 2026, with production potentially starting in 2026. He’s been dropping wild hints on podcasts (like Joe Rogan) about insane performance: 0-60 mph in under 1 second, top speed over 250 mph, and yes – optional SpaceX cold gas thrusters for short bursts of hover or even faster acceleration. This isn’t just a supercar; it’s a halo product designed to blow minds, showcase Tesla’s tech prowess, and remind the world why electric can dominate performance. The original Roadster kicked off the EV revolution – this one could redefine what’s possible on (and slightly above) the road!
Tesla Robotaxi Update: Unoccupied Tests
Game-changing updates! Tesla has secured permits and is rapidly expanding Robotaxi operations – starting supervised in Arizona (with quick progression to unsupervised planned), and already running active pilots in Texas and California. The real jaw-dropper: in Austin, Tesla is now routinely testing fully driverless, unoccupied vehicles on public roads – no safety driver, no remote operator visible, just pure AI handling real-world traffic. These milestone rides (captured on video by testers and employees) are proof that unsupervised autonomy is no longer “coming soon” – it’s happening right now, scaling fast, and forming the foundation for the massive Robotaxi network revenue explosion many of us are betting on. This is the core rocket fuel behind the recent all-time high surge and why I believe the biggest gains from this Tesla Robotaxi update are still ahead.
SpaceX IPO Heating Up
Major buzz is building around a potential SpaceX public offering in 2026 – SpaceX’s CFO recently confirmed the company is actively preparing for an IPO, with reports suggesting it could raise significantly more than $30 billion at a valuation targeting around $1.5 trillion (following a recent insider tender offer valuing the company at $800 billion). This would make it one of the largest IPOs in history, fueling massive growth for Starship’s insane flight rates, Starlink’s global expansion, lunar/Mars missions, and even orbital AI data centers. The entire Musk ecosystem – from Tesla to xAI – is exploding in synergy!
All this has me super excited and plotting my next big experiment here on the site… hint: once the IPO hits, I might launch a parallel DCA adventure into SpaceX shares, building a full “Musk portfolio” alongside my Tesla holdings (same £40/week twist, long-term to 2030+).
